Stephanie is a data scientist who manages and analyses population data. At Delos Stephanie inspects, cleans, transforms and models data in order to establish the relationship between elements of the built environment and relevant health outcomes. Stephanie focuses on interpreting data in ways that are relevant to public health and public benefit.
Stephanie’s areas of expertise include epidemiology, public health, surveillance, data science, and biostatistics.
She received her Master of Public Health from Columbia University, Mailman School of Public Health. Her master’s thesis on spatiotemporal clusters of suicidal behavior in New York City served as a basis for a developing surveillance system at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. The system is aimed at monitoring youth and adult suicidal behaviors in both space and time throughout New York City. She received her Bachelor of Neuroscience from Smith College.
