Minjia joins Delos with a strong background in law, economics and finance. Prior to joining the fast-growing Delos Asia team, she worked with Delos Labs and Delos Ventures. Minjia brings her interdisciplinary skill sets and insights of emerging markets to the work of strategic partnership, venture capital investment, merger & acquisition, due diligence on high-tech companies globally, and business management of Asia market at Delos. Minjia has professional experience in over ten countries across Asia, Africa and North America. Prior to joining Delos, she worked with Inter-American Development Bank, Grameen Bank in Bangladesh (2006 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate), SMEs in Lesotho, nonprofit organizations in Haiti, Malaysia Prime Minister’s office and consulting firms in Asia. The projects she led and consulted on include impact investment, social business, healthcare, intellectual property law, education and environmental protection.
Minjia holds a Bachelor Degree of Laws from Sun Yat-sen University in China, where she focused on public interest environmental litigation for her graduation thesis. During her studies, she served as the captain of her university’s parliamentary debate team and was elected as the Chinese youth representative to the United Nations Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC). Minjia also studied Social Entrepreneurship at University of California in Los Angeles with full scholarship, and received her Master of Public Administration degree with concentration on economics and finance from Cornell University.
