Tekha founded the internationally known Tekha Group organization, which promotes healthy lifestyles by bridging cultural gaps all over the world, in 2012. Through all natural means, Tekha was able to lose 144 pounds in 11 months, he used his story of transformation as a way to motivate others to reach their goals. Through Tekha Group, he gave more than 130 seminars all over the world, inspiring hundreds of thousands of people to change their lives for the better. Tekha Group worked on numerous government initiatives aimed at advancing healthy lifestyles in different countries. The world’s smallest and most advanced fitness step tracker, the MymoTekha, is named after him. Tekha has a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and a Master’s Degree in Media Studies. He also has worked as a college instructor, teaching classes in Speech Communication and Race, Gender & Human Identity. Tekha played on the Egyptian National Team and played American college basketball.
