The Legacy at Drexel Arms is a 116-room student housing project that caters to students at St. Joseph’s University and the Well Signature Suites account for 25 percent of the total room count. An historic building, The Legacy was constructed by renowned Philadelphia architect, Horace Trumbauer in 1909. It has been a home to students at St. Joseph’s University for decades, including several of the school’s fraternities and sororities. In 2013, Cross Properties acquired the property and embarked on an ambitious plan to restore the building to its original historic grandeur. In addition to the new Delos-designed wellness offerings, modern amenities have been added including a Wi-Fi lounge, game room and fitness center. Additionally, the residences have been upgraded with new wood floors, new bathrooms and numerous kitchen enhancements.
